Customer Service Assistant

Are you a natural when it comes to talking on the phone and working with people?

Unique opportunity for a young, dynamic, organised, well presented and well-spoken individual with the right personality who would like to get to know the tax industry inside out while dealing with and assisting in servicing individual tax clients under the guidance of a fully qualified and experienced tax practitioner. No previous experience in the finance or tax industry necessary. School leavers welcome but some working experience advantageous. Contract start with chance to go permanent.

The successful candidate must be/ have:

  • Residing in the West Rand
  • Bilingual
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Able to build and keep client relations
  • Able to type accurately and have strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Deadline orientated
  • A fast learner and willing to take on new challenges
  • Ability to multitask

Main Responsibilities

  • Deal with new clients and calls coming in
  • Manage email and work closely with the registrations department
  • Assist tax team including tax practitioner with any phone related queries
  • Provide ad hoc support around office as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum matric
  • Computer literate in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook

Administrative Clerk to the Tax Team
